WRHG demo
I walked down the plain gray corridor with Astor resting on my arm and my bow secured on my shoulder. We were scheduled to go to a training room to test my abilities or something. I was excited since this was probably my first time to fight here.

People looked at me in a weird way as I was looking for my designated room. I tried to ignore their stares but it was hard. Everyone was lined up on a door for probably the same reason I'm here or maybe something else. As I finally arrived at my training room's door I noticed no one was lined to it.

{Odd.} I thought as I entered the pitch black room.

"Hello?" I called, my voice echoed throughout the space but no one replied.

[Are you sure that was a good idea Rhami?] Astor thought to me with the tone of concern in his voice.

{Of course it is,} I thought back playfully at him. {I mean what's the worst that could happen---}

"Welcome to the training room number 1170,' a male voice answered as the door behind slid shut again leaving me and Astor in darkness. "May I ask for your name?"

"Rhami," I answered suddenly feeling an uncertainty take over me.

[I'll just go and watch you fight,] Astor said and flew off into the darkness. [You know how to call me.] He added as he left.

"Well then Rhami," the voice said. "Prepare yourself for battle."

Suddenly, the whole room lit up in a bright light. I had to cover my eyes from the sudden brightness until it fully adjusted to the light.

[Oh crap. This will not end well.] Astor sounded so pessimistic.

{What? What's wrong?} I asked him before seeing what he meant.

A 20 foot man stood on front of me, his eyes staring at me intently. He kept staring at me until he suddenly raised one of his eyebrows and gave a quick chuckle.

'Oh shift, the way you move,' I muttered.  

'Wait you're my opponent?' the man said. 'But…you're a girl.'

'Correction,' I said playfully. 'A girl who could kick your butt.'

'Oh really,' he said. 'We'll see.'

'Yes, we'll see,' I replied and stuck out my tongue at him.

A flash of anger rippled on his face before he suddenly jumped up. He pulled his fist right back readying himself to give me a pummel of a life time. Automatically, I readied my bow and shot 3 arrows at his face.

Unfortunately, before I could see if I it was effective or not, I jumped out of the way just before he gave me the punch and instead hit the floor. The blow sent a shockwave all over the room and a thick cloud of dust covered where he landed the blow. After the cloud finally settled, it revealed a giant crater and my opponent lying unconscious in it with my arrows implanted on his face.  

{I couldn't be that easy would it Astor?} I thought to him as I started to walk away.

[Just keep your guard up.] He simply answered.

As I continued walking, there was a sound behind me like something shifting. I dodge to the left just before he punched me, but even if I dodged his attack a familiar feeling covered my body before I was sent flying across the room and into the wall with a great force.

{Ok that was weird but there's something familiar about that feeling,} I thought to myself as I staggered up. {But what?}

I looked at his face, my arrows were no longer there and his wounds were healing swiftly. Suddenly it hit me, he coated himself with concentrated energy to make him faster, stronger and heal faster. Unfortunately, it makes an explosion when it touches raw energy. I smiled as an idea sprung up in my head.

{Astor,} I thought to him. {Can you use your energy assault on him when I tell you to?}
[Sure,] he replied. [What are you planning to now?]

{You'll see.}

'Ready to fall on your knees and beg for mercy?' my opponent arrogantly asked as he stood on front of me.

'Let me think,' I retorted leaning on the cracked wall. 'Hmm...How about in your dreams?'

Suddenly, he grabbed my neck and held me up while I tried to free myself from his hands but it was useless. Unfortunately, my bow fell to the ground in the process. He grinned as he tightened his grip on me.

'Last chance girl,' He said slyly. 'Beg for mercy or die. Your choice…'

'How many times...do I have to tell you,' I panted as I struggle to breathe. 'No.'

'Well then,' he said. 'Get ready to die!'

He pulled his fist back and it started to glow in a faint greenish light. He smiled as it started to glow brighter. He was gathering more energy for his deadly blow but he didn't notice Astor behind also getting gathering energy. Perfect.

[Rhami,] Astor thought to me anxiously. [Now?]

{A little more, Astor.}

His fist was starting to become a bright green of light as he continued to gather energy. Astor too was starting to glow brightly but in a light blue color like his ribbon that was tied around his neck. Luckily, my opponent was too ignorant to see a bright blue shining bird that was behind him.

[Now?]

{Wait for it...}

The man's fist was shining brighter that before, I knew he was going to punch me soon.
'This will be over soon,' he whispered and clenched his fist tightly and got ready to give me the blow.

'Now Astor!' I exclaimed as he was about to punch me.

Astor stopped gathering and nosedived towards my opponent in great speed leaving a trail of blue as he dropped altitude. My opponent turned around to see the bright blue light heading straight towards him. He tried to bloke Astor with his glowing hand but that was grave mistake. As both collided with each other, a blinding light filled the room before an explosion occurred.

As the light faded, I got up and saw that my plan had worked. The man was down on the floor badly wounded from the explosion. I walked towards him and laid my foot lightly on his chest.

'I told you I would kick your butt.' I told him crossing my arms. He just looked at me and said nothing. His eyes filled with sadness. Suddenly, Astor gave a loud cry as he threw me my bow. I caught it and smiled.

'Any last words before I end this,' I asked him getting an arrow from my quiver.

But again, he said nothing and looked away.

'I thought so,' I muttered and aimed my arrow at his neck. 'Heal.'

The arrow went right through his neck but didn't hurt him and disappeared. Suddenly, all the wounds on his body started to heal and disappear. As he sat up, my opponent looked at me again this time confusion was in his eyes.

'What?' I asked putting my hand on my waist. 'Don't I get a "Thanks" or something?'

'Why didn't you kill me? I mean I lost the battle.'

I slung my bow back onto my shoulder and started to walk away.

'My days of killing are over.' I replied and stretched my arm out for Astor to land on.
He landed on my arm and we left the room in silence. People all around us stared at us again, though most of them had their mouths open.

'What?' I asked them. 'Haven't you seen a girl before?'
